What is Lower Third?
A graphic in the lower part of the screen that shows a name, title or other information.
Lower thirds identify speakers in interviews, label locations and highlight key points without interrupting the footage. They are usually animated on and off with brand fonts and colours.
Keeping them inside the title-safe area ensures they are not cut off on any screen.
