Low Poly and High Poly

3D Visualization & Rendering

What is Low Poly and High Poly?

Describes how many polygons a 3D model uses: fewer for speed (low poly), more for detail (high poly).

High-poly models capture fine detail for close-up renders; low-poly models load and run quickly in games, AR and web 3D. Detail from a high-poly model can be baked into normal maps for a low-poly one.

Choosing the right density depends on where the model will be used.
