What is Content Management System (CMS)?
Software that lets people create, edit and publish website content through an admin interface, without editing code.
A CMS separates content from presentation: editors write pages and posts in a dashboard, and templates decide how that content looks. WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Ghost and headless platforms are all content management systems.
Choosing a CMS is a trade-off between flexibility, ease of editing, security upkeep and hosting cost. A good setup lets a business update its own site day to day while developers handle structure and features.
